EDM Electrode
EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) is also called as
discharge machining or electric corrosion machining, which uses pulse
discharging between electrodes. The principle is that the electrode and the
work-piece used as two poles and put the liquid in the gap of discharge, the
pulse voltage will puncture the liquid when the distance decreasing. tungsten copper has good
high temperature resistance, high strength under high temperature, arc
resistance, excellent conductivity and radiating so that it can be widely used
in EDM, resistance welding and high pressure discharge tube electrode. The
electrode for EDM is various, as tungsten copper electrode, it should be high
density and good uniformity, especially rod, pipe and other shapes of
electrodes. In addition, due to the advantage of tungsten, tungsten copper has
high electrical speed, low wear rate, accurate shape and excellent
anti-corrosion, which increases the accuracy of products.

High Pressure Discharge Tube
Discharge tube is a kind of device for preventing from
high voltage in input. If the voltage of two ends is high than the limit, there
will be internal short circuit and absorb the input high voltage. Combine the
high density and high melt point of tungsten with the good plasticity and
excellent conductivity of Cu, tungsten copper electrode uses fine tungsten
powder and Cu powder and through high temperature sintering and isostatic
pressing.
